Ukrainian military intelligence has released a video purporting to show the exchange of prisoners between Ukraine and Russia. President Volodymyr Selenskyj has confirmed that 144 Ukrainian military personnel have been released from Russian captivity as part of a prisoner exchange. The exchange is the largest since the start of the war.

Of the released Ukrainian prisoners, 95 were involved in the defence of the Azovstal steel plant in Mariupol. Many of them have serious injuries, including burns and amputations. The same number of soldiers were released by both sides in the exchange.

Russian rocket attack on apartment building: 5 dead

A Russian missile attack on an apartment building in the southern Ukrainian city of Mykolaiv reportedly killed at least four people and wounded five. A four-storey building was partially destroyed in the attack. Moscow confirmed the attack but said it had hit a training base for „foreign mercenaries“ in the region.
